Your barber needs to start at the base of your neck using a razor stopping about an inch from the main body of hair. Then they can move onto the clippers and blend the hair in using a #0.5 and a #1. For the top aim to point cut into the hair at around 3-4 inches at the front and gradually taper the hair around 2 inches at the crown of the head.

How To Cut
Ask your barber for tapered sides and high fade with everything left long on top. To start they will have to section off the top of your hair. Then your barber needs to start at the base of your neck using a razor stopping about 3 inches from the main body of hair. For the rest of the hair, he can get to work with #1 and then go over the edges with a #0.5 to make everything look neater. Finally undo the top hair and point cut into it at 8-10 inches. This way your hair should fall just past your shoulders, and you won’t be making anything too short.
